Hope you had a wonderful weekend! If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you’ve seen that my surroundings changed these past few days. I switched Haussmann for the beach and sun!
I flew to the south of France via England and enjoyed an absolutely gorgeous day there. One of the best times to visit the home of Kate Middleton is when the weather begins to warm up, allowing for evening drinks on pub terraces and jumper-less outings. Summer in the UK means a few things: the return of shorts and summer dresses, outdoor tanning, barbecues, music festivals, Wimbledon, and, of course, Pimm’s.
Pimm’s, the UK’s favorite summer drink, is delicious. Along with champagne, it is the staple drink at Wimbledon, the Henley Royal Regatta, and the Glyndebourne Festival Opera, as well as a fixture at polo matches. The gin and fruit-based cocktail drink is a true English tradition.
If you have the pleasure of visiting England this summer, make sure to enjoy a glass (or pitcher) of Pimm’s!
