I work best at my many coffices (coffee shop + office). The best part about being a coffice girl is that you can find one in every city! As you know, some of my favorites in Paris are Kozy, Loustic, and the Institut finlandais, but I also have a few in England that I love. My latest coffee shop find across the Channel is Shou Shou in Leamington Spa.
Just up the street from Sweet Tayloula, the darling exterior of Shou Shou with its inviting little table and chairs drew me in. I stepped into the coziest English tea room, with a built in bench, tons of throw pillows, and cutesy decorations. I was in pastel heaven!
Co-owners Umit Halkim Ayberk and her husband were so welcoming and made me all feel at home. They are attentive to their customers’ needs, making recommendations, and going the extra mile. I went in the afternoon so just had a fantastic coffee, but next time I plan to go earlier to try their lunch or for a slice of cake. A great place to go with girlfriends for a tea time catch up or a romantic lunch date with your love.
Definitely a place to visit if you’re in town!
