The Champagne Social was the Paris blogger event of the year!
Co-hosted by the incredible Lisa Czarina of Ella Coquine and NYC blogger Cara Alwill Leyba from The Champagne Diet, the glittery soirée was held at the Habitat Parisien Popincourt loft. The talented Lauren Lou Bate of Folies du Bonheur participated in making the gorgeous space an effervescent, sparkly wonderland. We were dazzled from the moment we walked in!
We had all been looking forward to the event for weeks – and with good reason. The night was incredible! I had a fantastic evening, laughing and catching up with some of my favorite bloggers and expats in Paris. And dancing – oh boy, was there dancing. (See below.)
Everything was divine. A fantastic array of champagne, bubbly from Le Grand Courtâge, and Perrier for faux-jitos kept us hydrated, while luscious cheeses, petit fours, and glorious macarons were beautifully presented for the bloggers to enjoy.
Lisa, Aurelien, and Lauren put together a fantastic video/Breaking Bad spoof that you can see on Lisa’s post, Crafting Bad (Ass).
What I couldn’t get over was how gorgeous the Popincourt loft is. It’s the perfect place to call home base during your stay in the French capital. Habitat Parisien, thank you for providing this stunning space.
When there’s a bathtub this gorgeous, a mini photo shoot is inevitable.
Cara Alwill Leyba was kind enough to give us an awesome party gift: copies of her book Sparkle. I haven’t been so engrossed in a book since (I’ll be honest) Harry Potter 7 came out.
Un grand merci to the Habitat Parisien team. You guys are incredible! A special shoutout to Maria, who is an absolute doll and the agency’s social media liaison.
Among the party-goers were the following powerhouses of Paris social media: Prete-Moi Paris, L’Amour (Or Less…), Pictours Paris, Danielle Abroad, The Kale Project, Expats Paris, Kasia Dietz, Paris Cheapskate, THATLou (Treasure Hunt at the Louvre), De Quelle Planète Es-Tu?, Finding Noon, UrbaMedia, Crop the Block, Après New York, Picnics in Paris (Picnics & Dinner by Chef Kent), LouLou in Paris, and Stephanie Jiroch. With a guest list like that, the affair was bound to be a success!

What a fantastic night! Thank you again, Ella Coquine, The Champagne Diet, Folies du Bonheur, and Habitat Parisien for this magical evening.
